Sunday Spotlight

Hello my lovely Teddy Bo friends :0)))

Today it´s Sunday again and that means a new Sunday Spotlight *Yeaaah*
This Sunday we showcase the gorgeous creations of Sonia.

That is what Sonia tell us about herself and her creativity:

"I am Sonia aged 49 (yes BIG 50 looming) I live in Cheshire with my husband and two Golden Retriever's, I work part time and have two Sons and two lovely Grandchildren. I began crafting about 8 years ago after a visit to a Papermill shop, I dabbled with peel offs and stickers to start very basic cards compared to what I make now. I then discovered stamping and tried many different colouring mediums, Prisma pencils where my first love and have to admit still find these give me the best results for me. I love digi stamps as they are so versatile , you can resize them to your own requirement. I love Teddy Bo as I find bears are just so easy to colour, they are just so cute and cuddly. I was truly honored when asked if my cards could be showcased, I hope they give you inspiration to join in with the Challenges. I get most of my inspiration from you wonderful crafters whilst hopping through Blogland."

Sunday Spotlight

Hello my lovely Teddy Bo friends :0)))

It´s time for another Sunday Spotlight *Wohoo*.
Today we showcase the gorgeous creations of Barbara

That is what Barbara tell us about herself and her creativity:

"Hello,
My name is Barbara and I live with my family in Germany. Since my childhood tinkering has been my absolute passion. I've tried various techniques; silk painting, knitting, woodwork, window color, 3D-cards ,acrylic painting and for many of those years I have loved to stamp. I have always been happy to share my hobby with others, so I give courses to share my knowledge.

In August 2009, I decided to create a blog, I mainly show my stamp creations there. I like to try new techniques and for most of my work I like to use a 'cute' style. From the begining I loved the Teddy Bo images, they are soooo cute and so versatile. For every occasion there is a fitting image. I have so much fun working with them and my favourite colouring medium is "Twinklings H2O's".
I hope you like my work and thank you very much for showing it.

Best regards
Barbara"

Sunday Spotlight

Hello my lovely Teddy Bo friends :0)))

Here we are again with the Sunday Spotlight *Yeaaah*.
Today we showcase the wonderful creations of Katja .

That is what Katja tell us about herself and her creativity:

"I'm Katja, 41 years old and I'm from the Netherlands, Europe. Married to Wilbert for almost 12½ years and we have two daughters.
I really love making cards. A few years ago I did start making scrap-cards when I was on a crafting weekend with some crafting friends... and haven't stopped since. I love rubber stamps but most of the time I use digital images (digistamps) coloured with copics. Sometimes I try to color with Distress Inks but I find that difficult. I really love the Teddy Bo stamps and I’m honoured to be in the spotlight today!"

Sunday Spotlight

Hello my lovely Teddy Bo friends

It´s time for another Sunday Spotlight *Yeaaah*. Today we showcase the adorable creations of Gro.

That is what Gro tell us about herself and her creativity

"In my life there has been many different hobbies, but never ever anything like card-making. Started in 2008 and now I'm addicted. My style is simple and in ballance I like to think. Many layers, much embellishments, but still in ballance (hopefully). My cards are mostly monochromatic, I love ton-in-tone. I also love diecuts and borderpunch, and my favourite color system is Copics. And of course I love Teddy Bo and Bea. I felt in love with them when I visit your DT Jill's blog. In the end of September i bought my first Teddy Bo stamp. Now I have bought 24, so there will be many cards with Teddy & Co in the future also.

Best Regards
Gro"

Sunday Spotlight

Hello my lovely Teddy Bo friends

It´s time for another Sunday Spotlight *Yeaaah*. Today we showcase the adorable creations of Sally

That is what Sally tell us about herself and her creativity

I started making cards about 6 years ago after a friend bought me a card making kit which included a book Quick and Easy cards by Julie Hickey. I thought I would give it a go and maybe buy a few bits and bobs and see how I got on.......well I think I am an addict now like many of you reading this and could probably set up a small shop with the amount of stuff that I have accumulated. I find crafting so relaxing and spend as much of my spare time as possible in my craft room.
I started a blog a couple of years ago and this opened up a whole new world including challenge blogs, Design Teams and some great friends. I never thought I would get into stamping as I didn't see the point of spending all that time colouring in an image! Quite laughable now as if I haven't coloured in the image on the card I feel like I have cheated. I got hooked when I saw someone demonstrating how to colour with Copics at the NEC Hobbycrafts show and it looked so effective and relatively quick. So I started with a few Copics and then invested in a few more. I have since added some Promarkers to the collection. Earlier this year i bought some Polychromos and Prisma pencils to see if I could get the hang of colouring with pencils. I still have a lot to learn and each time I colour an image I try some thing different but I love the softness that you can get from the pencils especially when they are blended.
One of my favourite characters to colour is the adorable Teddy Bo and Teddy Bea.

Sunday Spotlight

Hello my lovely Teddy Bo friends

It´s time for another Sunday Spotlight *Yeaaah*. Today we showcase the adorable creations of Maria.

That is what Maria tell us about herself and her creativity

Hello everyone
"My name is Maria, I am 34 years old and live in California, USA
I’m a stay-at- home mom, I’m married to a very
supportive husband and we have two wonderful kids.

I discovered card making about a year ago, and since then, I always try to have some free time for my hobby. I love to make cards with lots of pink, glitter, and butterflies. For about 6 months I have been coloring with Copics and Promarkers (I try to do my best, but I want to take some classes) A couple months ago I discovered Teddy Bo and fell in love with those sweet bears immediately, and now I can’t stop coloring them!

Greetings from California
