::Another gorgeous card, this time from Claire from our DT::

Claire coloured the bears with water colour paints...and I'm sure you will agree it gives them a beautiful finish. She then printed them on an A4 sheet and then printed backing paper on the reverse. Then some ribbon was so she could tie it up and thats about it.
No sentiment - but perfect for an engagement amongst other occassions!

Thank you Claire for making the bears look SO gorgeous.

A Teddy Bea stamp inspired by a little girl.....

I wanted to share a little story about one of our new stamps due to go into the store on Tuesday....I was contacted by a lovely girl in Norway who was applying for our Design Team but sadly the call had closed.....as I do with everyone who contacts us I went for a wee look round her blog and found a photograph of a beautiful little girl.....I loved the picture so much that I wanted to draw Teddy Bea to look like her.....and below is what I came up with. Tine was disappointed that she didn't get in to the DT but I 'think' she was a tad happy that I used her daughter as inspiration!! Her blog is in Norwegian but she very kindly translates for us.....

I can't believe how lucky I am to have such wonderful designers on our BRAND NEW Design Team....if only you know how quickly these girls have pulled things together...okay, let me tell you....4 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, with out further ado, please welcome HEIDI:

''I am a stay-at-home Mum and part-time craft demonstrator at Craft Shows. I have been crafting for about ten years, blogging for three. I love stamping and colouring cute images, and playing with bright fun papers & card. I am married to David, have three lovely girls - Amy,
Jess & Georgia and a houseful of pets. Our two cats Molly & CoCo rule the house and love to sit and watch me craft.

I started making dolls cloths for my Pippa dolls when I was ten, knitting scarves for all of my teds and then the cross-stitch bug got me and I have spent many hours completing 'Winnie The Pooh' samplers for my girls, so crafting has always been my thing! I am never happier than when I am in my craft room surrounded by lots of buttons, ribbons & chocolate!''

Another Talented lady with a capital T!
We are tickled pink to announce that COLETTE has joined our Design Team

I'd personally like to take this opportunity to say...I don't know how Colette manages it all....she has a busy timetable and we're delighted that she has squeezed us in too!

"My name is Colette (obviously) , I live in Liverpool and am married to Eric, we have 2 beautiful daughters Stacy and Meg, and a very handsome grandson ( I know we all think that about our own, but he truly is LOL!) called Will. I don't go to work as my youngest daughter was born with a condition called Arthrogryphosis, she is disabled and uses a wheelchair to get around, I am her full time carer, looking after all her personal care etc., I also pick Will up from school a couple of afternoons a week, he can talk the hind leg off a donkey LOL! so no peace once he is here.

I suppose my crafty life began when I took up crocheting aged 10, but really took off when I was pregnant with Meg and started cross-stitching, I've also done cake decorating, flower arranging, Faberge style egg decorating, (which I taught at night school for a while), scrapbooking and of course card making. Through scrapbooking I discovered digital products and have never looked back, if I can do it digitally I will! I am completely addicted! I don't know how long it's been since I bought a piece of 'real' designer paper.

I use Photoshop for all my digi work and I absolutely love it, I think I would have a nervous breakdown if I ever lost it LOL!

It is a great pleasure to be part of the Teddy Bo and Bea design team. The digi stamps are so fabulous that it is easy to design cards and projects around them."

Good Morning Everyone

Oh it's Monday morning and normally I would be thinking....oh..another week..but instead I'm thinking....oh we launch tomorrow!! AAAAAAAAAAA!!! Got a few wee tweeks left with the website and a couple of boxes to unload but we're just about ready and we can't wait to show off our Design Team's cards...Oh My Word....they are STUNNING!!!!!!

Before we get there though we have another member of our Design Team to announce:

Ladies (and Gentlemen) please welcome LISA to the team.

"Hi, I'm Lisa and I live in Norfolk, UK, with my partner and 2 children. I work 2 days a week as a Medical Secretary at a local NHS hospital and in my spare time I love to make cards for my family and friends.

I have been a keen crafter since I was a child when I would spend hours colouring, drawing, painting and making 'Plaster of Paris' models. In my early twenties I was a keen cross stitcher for a number of years until the birth of my daughter in 2000.

I have been making cards for about 5 years but also do a little scrapbooking. I love cute images and my favourite embellishments are flowers. In my opinion they really add the 'finishing touch'. "

Good Morning All


Day 2 of our Design Team Announcement

We are delighted to announce that Claire (Clairebears) has joined our Design Team.

Claire is mum to a beautiful and VERY talented daughter who is a member of a Theatre Stage School. She is married and has 2 very spoiled cats. She work part time in a office (to fund her crafting habit!!) and loves it. Oh...and here's a shocker, she also provides "Mum's taxi service" on a far too regular basis!!!



She loves card making and has been doing it for years! Her earliest memory of crafting is making paper clothes for her poor Sindy Doll (The British Barbie). She started trying to make cards with cross stitch but that took too long so changed to paper-crafting which has now taken over!



Her poor husband often comes home to find a mess *cough cough* through the house and burnt dinners :) Gosh...that sounds familiar!!

(I know it's naughty, but this is one of Claire's cards...isn't it gorgeous.
Don't tell anyone that I've put it up.)

Claire loves making cards and she has just discovered Digi Stamps which is amazing - she says "if you've not found them yet, you dont know what your missing! I love crafting as you never know what your going to end up doing next! Or what you'll discover!"

I was going to give Tammy's introduction as our Creative Director on our Design Team a separate post but I don't want to 'hop' over this post...I want everyone to see it, SO:

PLEASE WELCOME TAMMY (KIZZY DESIGNS) AS CREATIVE DIRECTOR

I have known Tammy now for 5 years (ish)....she was one of my first every customers and she was unlucky enough to buy one of my first every kits...thank goodness practice pays off as my early kits were BAD!!!!

We've had a LOT of long telephone chats, we've 'pinged' on MSN a LOT and we even met up nearly 2 years ago on our way home from seeing friends. Tammy has three gorgeous (and I mean gorgeous) girls and one beautiful little grandaughter...oh and there's also her hubby...but he doesn't craft so we don't need to mention him!!!!;o)

We have spent the last couple of years on the same digital stores and she has made many a gorgeous card with my graphics. She's always the first person that I send them to.

Last year both of us 'lost our mojo' separately and also lost contact but in November I decided to google my old friend to find out what she'd been up to and I found her blog....I'm delighted to say that the last 6 weeks or so have been frantic, exciting, productive, exhausting but fabulous and Teddy Bo & Bea LOVE their new Aunty Tammy...and she gives me LOTS of inspiration and ideas as what crafters would like as cards. She is MEGA talented and very patient (she has to be, she's got me as a friend) and very generous both with her time and talent.


If there's anyone I trust to tell me the truth it's Tammy...I'm honoured to have her as my friend....and I'm delighted that she's with me on this new journey.
